I just took delivery of my 2015 FTLRX today. It was a left over bike that a customer ordered and then could not take delivery of last summer. He had it ordered in just before the '16 models came out and it ended up just sitting on the floor. It caught my eye right away as I didn't need the Nav feature etc. As time went on it did not sell as most people up here get the Special or the Ultra. I wanted to buy it but was tied up with a legal matter that was keeping my hands tied until it was settled. Word of caution, don't ever cosign something for family. Anyways when I got word that the matter was settled I called on the phone to put a deposit on it and went up the next day to sign the papers. When I went up another guy came in and walked directly to the bike and then started cursing when he seen the sold tag. He had come to buy it, I was one of many that had an eye on it. I finally got to take delivery of it today after doing the walk through yesterday. I added the docking hardware and a backrest, the plastic air deflectors that go under the fairing, and my cell phone mount. I used my cell for satellite radio, music, navigation, and I also have a headset for calls in my helmet. I ordered a set of the vented color matched lowers that will be 6-8 weeks before I get them as well as the Stealth rear rack and the chrome saddle bag guards like what comes on the Ultra. I called John at Freedom Shields and ordered a 15" Sport Touring shield to replace the short stock one. My wife said she will order me the Streamliner heated grips for our 20th anniversary in May. They will be fantastic up here in a cooler climate, especially with my arthritis. Btw I got the bike for 3k off and got 1k over bluebook on my trade. Now to wait a few more weeks for all the snow to melt and take her out for a spin.
I added a picture I took with my phone last week at the dealers, the color sure changes depending on the light.

Anybody notice his bike has the center tail/brake light. How come it's on there? Was this an add on, special ordered item?

That's the color was actually what I was looking for at first. Not really sure what triggered the change maybe it was the prior 20 years of owning black bikes.

Anyways she is a beautiful ride best of luck with it.
