With my longer turn signal bar - the plasma rods would not have looked right, their light would be broken up by my signal bar... So Today.... I installed a short bar. Step one complete. Now, I gotta wait and hope my wife gets me the plasma rods for my Birthday in Early January

 

One question that I didn't see asked yet: did the CD turn signals come with those clear/smoked lenses, or did you have to buy them separately? The stock lenses look yellow, but your "after" pics definitely have a clear lens on them. Please advise...thanks!

 

Stock was amber lens on front, red on rear. When you buy CD lights you get to pick what lens color you want.
Mine are the SMOKE. other option is clear.

 

The CD LED inserts also come with no lenses. I had a set of clear HD lenses left over from my many lighting changes on my old bike.

 

So the lenses are ordered from CD? I just looked at their site, and the lenses they have pictured don't look like the newer style (like what you have pictured.). Guess I'll have to call them and see what they have. Thanks!

 

The lens in my pictures are the ones that come in the kit in my first post.

 

On the check out page, you pick your lens color.

 

Nice work man! I was looking at doing the same thing to my Street and this just solidified my decision. Great write up.
