Im almost certain that the 2011 is different then the 2014. I dont have access to an older S.G. For a mockup.

Just installed the plasma rods today on my 14 Limited. 14FLHX (member here) was kind enough to make up some aluminum brackets that fit the space perfectly with no interference with the saddlebags. Easy 30 minute install and the end results are perfect. Using the Custom Dynamics harness (I chose turn/brake module) was incredibly simple for even someone who is as wiring challenged as me. What a terrific upgrade both visually and safety wise. Very bright and highly functional.

 

I installed the Plasma Rods on my '14 SGS tonight, using some fabbed brackets similar to those made by the OP. Turned out great, nice and bright. I have mine set up for brake only, with the CD Magic Strobe controller on the Plasma Rods only. I also added the CD Dynamic Ringz on the front turn signals and dual intensity red LEDs to the rear turn signals. Should greatly increase visibility--Custom Dynamics products are great!

 

I'm a late comer to this party, but wow, I love it. I'll be ordering the brackets and the CD stuff soon. Love lights in the back. The stock 14 SG doesn't have enough for me. Thanks for doing the brackets, especially for those of us without a welder. (or the talent to do it<G>)

 

Just wanted to give you guys a update, I have 8 sets of brackets left and i wont be making more any time soon do to that im moving at the end of the month. My whole shop is in a storage unit as we speak and it will take me some time to get setup at the new place. Lots to do at the new place and i might have the shop up and running by winter. So im guessing these 8 brackets will go fast, if your siting on the fence and thinking about it, now is the time while i have them in stock.

For anyone looking for a clean & easy installation of your plasma rods i recommend these brackets.

 

I appreciate everyone's responses as I read through these but I'm still lost. I plan on ordering Kevin's bracket but what else do I need with the Plasma Rod's from CD.
