If you get 2 TFC3's along with the MPR-BCM you will get run brake and turn. We probably talked to the same guy as I was told no Run/brake/turn either. He told me I could only get two of the 3. However this isn't the case as I'm running that set up now.
This is how I have mine wired to the BCM-MPR with the TFC3's:
With MPR-BCM
Right rod- Red to purple, Orange to orange, black to black
Left rod- Red to brown, Orange to blue, black to black
The only wire on the MPR-BCM that doesn't get used for run/brake/turn is the red wire.

With that setup,
1) Do the turns flash the Plasma Rods ON/OFF or dim/Bright?.
2) Are the running lights on the Plasma Rods dim, then Bright for Brake?

I just installed the 8" Plasma Rods on my '14 FLHX I used 2 TFC3's because I wanted Run/Turn/Brake, Like Offthewall said, you don't need the TFC3's for Brake/Turn the MPR-BCM will do what you are wanting to do. Or you could save a lot of money by using 3 Posi-Taps and tapping directly into the Brake/Turn wires (2 Required) and put the 2 ground wires from the Plasma Rods together and tap in to the ground going to the rear lights (1 Required).
Here is where your connections should be made: Left Rod RED goes to the BLUE-PURPLE on the bike, Right Rod RED goes to the BLUE-BROWN on the bike. Both BLACK wires from the Rods go to BLACK on the bike.

Good read. I am going to perform this install later this week on my SGS. I purchased the 8" rods and the 2 TFC3 so I can have the run/brake/turn.

I trying to find out from you guys (pswomack, monty,etc) that have the plasma rods set up for run/brake/turn some info about the appearance in the three modes. Run - Is this mode the rods on dimly? Brake - The rods at full brightness? Turn - Do the rods flash "dim to bright" or "off to bright"? Thanks.

You will need 2 TFC3's
4 Posi-Taps if you don't use the MPR-BCM, The TFC3's come with the Posi-Taps included.
Run/Dim
Brake/Bright
Turn/Dim to Bright
