If you don't like the price, don't buy one.
The price don't just cover materials. I also have to take my time to drive to the store buy the stuff, go home prep, make, paint, box it up, and take it to the P.O.
Ohh also Ebay and Paypal likes some share of that $ to, by the time there cut is done that leaves about $50. I still have to pay for materails, drive there, Fuel, and MY TIME.
I am just fine with NEVER MAKING ANOTHER SET, some members asked if i would be willing and i was. All i did was share my idea and others liked it.
Why dont you complain about the $130 it cost for a set of Plasma rods? Do you think there just breaking even? Is it cause there a company? I dont have a problem paying for something i cant make myself, thats the way life works. You pay for what you cant do yourself.
Offthewall: Nice job, I like it. I didn't have any issues with my bags being to tight on my street glide so there must be something that is different in your brackets from your FLHTK.
I like your idea, i'm also glad it works better for you.

Thanks for being open and let some of us know of your ideas for this type of mount. Others will copy, put their own spin on it, or at least confirm by an order from you that your work was pretty darn good.
I appreciate people like you who think outside the box, offer a great idea and even willing to build it for others who may not have the same skill set or tools.
I have a 2014 FLHXS, but personally don't see the need for the plasma lights. The LED's are improvement over stock alone. I am just very appreciative of your work!
