Default Rear Axle Nut Torque Specs ‘14 Ultra Limited

I found this thread from 2021 that shows the new axle along with the new torque specs (135-145 ft-lbs). Would these new torque specs apply to my bike with the older axle? Thanks!

Nothing in the axle kit instructions say the old axle and nut can be torqued to the higher value, the instructions say to discard the old axle.

The kit is $89 from the dealer.

Unfortunately, I didn’t install the new axle. I had just finished installing the wheel after having a new tire mounted. I was looking in my service manual for the torque specs. That’s when I remembered about the torque specs having been changed. At my age and the amount of effort it took to remove and reinstall the wheel, I’m not in any rush to do that again anytime soon. I’ll just use the old torque specs. Thanks for the reply.
