Default Do I have any reason...

Proof there are stupid questions. But just in case I'm missing something.

Do I have any reason to keep my stock header and pipes? Are they even worth trying to sell (or give away)? They are just taking up room in my garage. Even if I wanted to change to different exhaust, I wouldn't be putting the stock stuff back on.

Is there any use for this stuff at all? Would someone want it for some reason?

Only if you decide to sell this bike. Add-ons doesn't increase the value of the bike.

I still have my original stuff. Figure if I sell the bike I would give to them Incase they wanted it stock. Still have ECM on the shelf.

I have kept all my stock parts: seats, slip-ons, etc.

Not sure about MI, but CA I might keep for strict laws. But what if you decide you just want to put slip on ons?

Pipe welds have been known to crack on occasion, how long would you want your bike to be down if you had to have the pipes repaired or replaced?

While I get the idea, I'd say that pipes are a bad example as a modified bike probably wouldn't run well at all if the factory exhaust was put back on it... that's way different than returning to a stock seat.
I'd rather list them locally and then use that money to go out to dinner than to have them laying around in my garage getting banged up until they aren't worth using anyway.

You have 3 bikes listed in your sig. Which one are you talking about? My 2007 Ultra developed a crack in the rear header pipe . Which is a common occurrence on bikes of that era. I had it welded up and it is still holding. If I had a spare pipe I could have just installed it and had no down time. Had the other pipe welded up for a backup in the future. Hey. That's all I got. Do as you see fit.
