The wheels are not chrome. they are the factory "slicer" wheels I think. they are clear coated where they are not black.

Do you just take your bike to "The Guy" to get it fixed every time you have a problem with it Rounder? Without even wanting, or knowing what's actually wrong with it? Sometimes preliminary troubleshooting is required to determine if it can be repaired in "Your" shop.......... or "The Guy's" shop.
I have had my engine and tranny apart, and out of the bike. But I don't like mounting tires. So I drop the wheel off. Same thing with my truck, I got a flat tire, I bring it to the garage, and tell that it has a leak. I don't see the point in soaping it up, if I am just going drop the wheel off.

Other than tightening valve stem, I bring wheel in.

You don't need a jack for spraying soapy water on. Spray and area and wait, I like to take my hand and wipe the bubbles away, so I can see the new ones form at the leak. Just roll if forward, spary again etc. spray the tire bead, valve stem, take the cap of and spray.

A couple weeks ago I had a very slow leak in the front, I soaped it twice before I saw where it was. It ended up being a tiny nail/brad.
I'm a magnet for nails etc. One week after I got a new rear tire installed, I picked up a screw. Two leaks in two weeks. Both tires have plugs. Every vehicle I have has had a plug or two, even my riding lawn mower has one. I know your suppose to put a new tire on, but plugs have served me well.

I would tighten them anyway. It won't hurt and it might cure your problem. If the leak is really really slow, you might not see bubbles.

I already checked that the valve cores were tight. First thing I looked at.

So your manual calls for 40 psi in rear, 36 front, and rear alarms at 35? Just asking cause old bikes had lower rating. But things change. But even if your bike was alarming to high, it would a warranty issue.

Yes, 40 psi rear. The 22 has an 18" rear wheel. I know some of the older ones had 16" rear wheels so they may have had a lower pressure spec.

2016 is same way with the 16" rear wheels, and I believe this is true for 2014 and 2015 too...
From my 2016 manual, FWIW...
