Tire pressure

I'm no expert but your tire pressure gauge may not give you the accurate results you're looking for.
As the spring time temperatures start to rise so will tyre pressures. It is getting to the point where I will be letting a little of that winter air out.

A guy asks is it normal to be seeing a loss of 2 psi a day. The answer is that is not normal. It indicates a leak from somewhere. The guy is not seeing a variance of 2 psi up and down, the pressure is only going down.
The temperature needs to be taken into account but if the temperature is not dropping then neither should the tyre pressure.

I am not the only one to say, don't base it on daily readings of only 2 pounds.
If it went down 6 pounds over the 3 days he checked, yes that is not normal. But I am not basing my call on adding 2 pounds 3 days in a row.
You lose a little just checking and hard to get just 2 pounds in . And then accuracy.
Nothing I am saying here should be hair on fire.
Check it after a few days.
