I added another small upgrade to the FLHP from
Kuryakyn Kuryakyn
. You can't see these short 3/4 inch spacers but they do improve foot position and comfort. I'm not having any trouble with the Thrashin footboards scraping the road.

I run those same spacers on my FLHP with stock boards. I also ran them on a Road Glide with the Thrashin boards, but I think I was running 13” shocks instead of 12”. I tried running the Tall Boys lowering brackets with the Thrashin boards and those spacers and scrapped more than I liked. Took the brackets off.

@Hulkss and others: I need to change the oil in my 2021 FLHTP. What oil and filter do you use and recommend?

I realize this is sometimes a rather fraught topic, but I don't have any experience changing the oil on this bike and would be grateful for your recommendations, hints, and tips!

Thanks in advance!

Amsoil oil and filters, I paid the yearly membership to get the discount, but have never repaid as I purchase enough yearly to get a free renewal. Is it the best oil? I have no idea, Will it harm the bike? No. But with free delivery to my door, ready made kits that comprise of 5 quarts, oil filter and drain plug o-ring, and the price discount its a no brainer for me.

There is a section in your owner’s manual for Maintenance and Lubrication. You should have one. If not, go here:
