I have been finding that kind of stuff on e-bay. Takes a couple of days to get but it beats running around town an coming up empty handed.

Yep that's where I'm at now. I was hoping to find something to test fit, but I should know better.

The vinyl caps are vacuum caps. I have found them at Advance Auto, Advantage Auto, etc. If your breather bolt is the same as the gold one pictured with the white cap, you can simply drill and tap the hole in the nipple and install a set screw with red loc tite. I did that on one of my twin cams. Never an issue and simple.

There is confusion here. I used button cap bolts to plug the breather holes in the heads... so all good there. What I'm talking about is finding a plug for the hole in the air filter itself. The round air filters have a hole for the breather tube to go through so that the tube extends into the throttle body.

Hulkss said he used a 5/16 rubber plug in his description of the install

If you can install from the rear of the backing plate, Lowes has plastic plugs of all sizes in the hardware section in the specialty hardware drawers. I have used them on fenders to plug rear facia holes for the tribar light etc.

Yep looked at those and appears they would work. Call me paranoid but just imagining the vibration causing one of the plastic denting pieces of the plug breaking off and being sucked into the intake. Really, I prefer a rubber grommet style plug... safer in that regard.

I found this pic of a 2021 FLHP on FB where the owner added the Mustang passenger pillion. Looks like there is indeed a space between the two seats that will hopefully accommodate the Utopia backrest.

I think I’m going to roll the dice and order the Mustang 79436. It should have the textured top like the OE police seat. I also have some black cowhide that I’ve used for other small Harley projects that matches seat covers pretty well, and I can fab a cover for the bottom of the frame of the backrest to add some protection for the pillion.
