Since day 1 on my 2023 I felt that my belt was way too tight.
Asked at the dealership - of course they blew me off on the subject.
I sort of hoped that it may seat a bit and have a bit more reasonable feel but I'm up to 7500 miles and it's still the same.
With your accelerated pulley wear I wonder if you have any thoughts on this?

Also did you discuss a warranty replacement? You should still be within the two years basic warranty.
The chrome is rubbing off my rear pulley as well and the teeth are rough. I agree cant be good for the belt. Im only at 5k+ miles... frustrating

I did not want to reinstall the old pulley and ride 120 miles to try and get a warranty replacement. (Not sure, but I think it is a wear item and not covered by warranty).

I set the belt tension with the bike on a frame lift stand with the rear wheel off the ground. I set it close to 9/16 loose in the belt guard window using the H-D tension tool.

As long as the crankcase pathway is the same, I can't see why there would be an issue tapping off the head breather holes.
Here's a look at the three passages between the engine and transmission housing. The gasket between engine and transmission, item 26 #24400215 in the CVO 121, has been used since 2017.

Yep that's good to see. I decided to make my own transmission cover engine crankcase vent (like Trask's) after viewing Ron's Workshop M8 crankcase on YouTube. The gasket and separation of the transmission and crankcase passages and the hole at the bottom of the crankcase side seems to have been there since the introduction of this engine. It seems the crankcase side was originally designed to be the vent for the crankcase for the M8s but for some reason the vent system did not make production for the non-cvo models. But since you posted the cvo cover and its oil separation system... its a no brainer to go with that instead of making my own.

I just installed the turn signal visor style trim rings to complete the set. Now I need to wash the bike.

Took her for a 1500 mile shakedown run, I think she going to work out fine. I have a few doo-dads and slip-ons with 2” baffles. On the shelf is a new headpipe, ventilator a/c, proper cable for power vision unit, license is needed. I’m sure a proper tune would help.

Planning to take an extended ride soon

Apropos of nothing, I want one of these to go with my police bike.
Our NC highway patrol is stepping up their game.

Matching 2024 FLHP I saw a week before I took delivery on mine in March.

I looked at a new '24 Road Glide Police model yesterday, Impact Blue. I'm passing on it, but maybe somebody here might be interested. Listed at $21,199, at Arrowhead H-D in Peoria, AZ, and available for purchase immediately. Friend of mine had ordered it, but then switched over to a new '24 Road Glide when they were released.

**If anybody knows of a new '24 FLHP (or a '23 as well) available now - at a reasonable price - let me know. A couple of you mentioned dealers with one or two, but they all were asking well over $26K; I'm just not willing to pay that much for one. Even a newer used one would work for me as well.

Which headpipe did you go with?
