It should. It's the same part number as the tour-pac support on an Ultra.

With the demise of the FLHR, I hope the FLHP lives on for many years to come. I'm a fairing guy, I ride an FLHTP, and have long said that the police bikes are the best bargains in the HD line-up.

I never knew you could buy one new.

I like the look of blank tank and bags without graphics.

I believe there was a time when they were not available to everybody.

The H-D web site now says:
CAN A CIVILIAN OR NON-POLICE OFFICER PURCHASE A POLICE MOTORCYCLE?
Yes, however they would need to be purchased through your local dealer. Please see your local dealer for terms and conditions.

The Harley tour-paks are designed to have a backrest on the front side. I'm going to be mounting a Utopia Backrest directly to the police solo seat frame.
The back rest will move together with the motion of the suspended seat.

I’m able to run a chopped tour pack on a solo mount on my flhtp and the lids still open. Just fyi.

Thanks, I tried the solo detachable rack with a King tour-pak on a 2014 Street Glide and I had to install a spacer under the tour-pak to get the bags open.

The FLHP has the same 13" shocks as the other (non-lowered) touring bikes. I think they are actually pretty good shocks despite all the internet complaining which is usually directed at the 12" version that have only 2" of travel (lame).

These shocks are actually a modern design that has a stiff spring and rebound damping only on one side (with the preload adjuster). The other side has a softer spring and compression damping only. Under dynamic conditions the damping forces tend to balance out the uneven spring forces. Having only one type of damping on each side improves damping performance when the shock reverses direction from compression to rebound.

Here's some internet pics:

That is a nice setup, I have them on my RKS and they work great. Looks like a very nice build once you get it and start. I like the smaller tour oak idea and placement.

My 2023 FLHP will be built and delivered to the dealer in a few weeks, HOWEVER, my Dealer just learned that H-D has a policy that Police bikes have to be held in inventory for 90 days before sale to individuals. I will be waiting 'till May to get the bike. No big deal. Many bikes take much longer to get.
