Ah, looks to be stock on the FLHP. Wonder if I can order one?

Found it; part number 59600029 and screw 10500017. Unfortunately, looks like I might have to drill the fender?

I added a few more items from H-D to the bike:
Saddlebag lid rails
Detachable solo luggage rack
Contoured Headlamp Trim Ring

From Drag Specialties: Gas cap covers.

I don't miss the fuel gauge in the left cap. I use the mileage to empty display. It works consistently, however, it is about 10% optimistic on remaining range.

Here's how it looks today:

Nice thread, although undersold the police bikes are the sweet spot in the H-D lineup.
I have a 2020 FLHTP that I ordered and then took delivery of the day it came off the truck thanks to being a licensed peace officer. I've made many modifications to the bike and it's my weekend fun ride as opposed to my daily commute Dyna.
Following this thread here are just some of the changes I made:
After my warranty expired I upgraded to the Wood 22XE cam and Powervision tuner (major improvement). D&D Billet Cat 2:1 exhaust.
I've also upgraded my suspension to the Wilber's LDC Nivomat shock absorber set.
While the stock police seat was workable during training, I've swapped it out for a Mustang Lowdown solo touring seat (I'm 5'7" w/ a 30" inseam) and a passenger pillion for Sweetie as this is our weekend fun ride.
I also swapped the OEM tall police mirrors for the standard mirrors.
I've changed the rear lighting to facilitate a lower license plate.
The front red and blues have been exchanged for clear (white) Whelen 4" extended lens bulbs (which required jumping the stock flasher module).
Vance & Hines - VO2 Naked air intake kit (gets rid of the ugly oversize stock plastic trim).
Rekluse clutch slave cylinder (my bike has a hydraulic clutch). SoftBrakes extended brake lever.
Lots of Custom Dynamics upgrades.
Bung King custom length shift linkage
I've also added Clearwater Sevinas for vastly increased night (Iron Butt ride) illumination.
Advan Black tourpack w/ H-D hardware (for two-up) and Motherwell 7in. luggage rack (for solo).
Freedom Shields windshield.
Sony XAV-AX7000 w/ Rockford Fosgate 6.5" fairing speakers audio bundle.
H-D saddlebag guard rails. Lots of other mods as well.

Disappointing, if accurate, that 2023 is the last year for the FLHP. I'd sure like to have one, if I won the lottery, for slow-speed cone training.

Hey Hulkss, or anyone, when the dealer had to modify your new 2023 Police bike did they have to remove/replace the red switch assemblies?
Does anyone how much labor/time is it to replace them with conventional switch assemblies?

No, they leave the switches. They just take out the red and blue, and the modulator. When done the right side activates your passing lights and left side does nothing.
They charged me nothing since they have to do it.

I changed mine out myself. Its not difficult to do. Less than an hour, even if you take your time.

Hey Hulks, how are you liking the CVO mufflers? I am thinking of getting some for my FLHR ... looking for better tone but not too loud for touring. I believe the ones on your bike have heat shields. Is it necessary to run the shields under the bags? The ones I am seeing for sale don't have the shields.

You don't need the heat shields but they are nice to have. They are easier to clean than bare mufflers that get really hot and burn stuff on to them.
I really like the sound and look of the CVO mufflers and will be keeping them on the bike for sure.

Ok great. I think I may go with some CVO take-offs then. I agree it would be best to have the shields for them.
