Thanks for the heads up on these. Perfect timing. I’m picking up new lowers tomorrow, and will be a good time to swap when I take the old ones off. I had installed the fat bagger cable adjuster but I don’t think they were offering the aluminum housing at the time, so I just ordered one.

The dealer near me has a new Police on their website, not the FLHR but FLHTP. It doesn't say anything about wait time or price.

Still slowly going broke while I wait for my bike. I thought I'd get something I could see while riding it.

Well, your thread convinced me to look at the police bikes, and one of my local dealers had a pair on demo. Put a deposit down, and I’m picking up on the 13th of may. Got some good ideas from your thread for my FLHTP. Thx

I think a few Police bikes have been purchased since I started this thread, which is good to hear. The Electra Glide (FLHTP) and the Road King (FLHP) are both great bikes. The choice is basically Batwing vs Windshield.

I am using 14" bars that would put my hands well above the fairing. The batwing fairing makes no sense to me that way, so, Road King for me.

A local dealer just called to tell me they have a new FLHP available. It was presold, but the deal fell through or something. I was going to go ride it but they already swapped seats, which was one of my interests in the bike.

I know location matters, but what are people seeing for prices on ? Hard to get a good read on prices because there aren’t any other dealers in the area with them.

My FLHP is complete with dealer prep and any parts that I had installed. I hope to bing it home later this week and put on the rest of my parts and accessories over the weekend (cold and rainy weekend coming up).

Here it is at the dealership:
