The stock trim piece said 114 and Police. I'd rather let people wonder what they are looking at.

Nice, I have the same one and agree about the mounting. I plan on using the S1 AC for my 107 that fits under this cover so the trim won't be a waste of money.

Should be good for daytime visibility. Hopefully drivers associate amber with caution.
I am wondering, and to get me subscribed to this thread, is there any concern with the wire gauge supporting the incandescent lamps when the OEM lamps are LED with likely lighter gauge wiring?

The OEM bulb is p/n 68000056 incandescent.

Good thought and worth looking into.

As I posted below, the stock auxiliary lamps on a Road King are not LED, they use Halogen Incandescent bulbs. Installing 35 watt sealed beam bulbs is not an issue.
The stock bulb can be removed from the reflector and replaced, as such, the lamp is not hermetically sealed like a sealed beam bulb and can get moisture and condensation inside.

Maybe he is asking for himself and his own situation. He is asking when the OEM are led.

The amber sealed beams are 35 watt. That would be a 3 amp load. A 21 AWG wire is plenty large enough for three amps. I don't think I've ever seen a wire that small going to a lamp on a harley.
These lamps are on the P&A circuit which is fused at 20 amps. It's possible that the Body Control Module (BCM) on other (non-Road King) models would issue a fault for the 3 amp load, but I doubt it.

I replaced a passing lamp housing on my halogen lit RK and the wires are not that thick so I would tend to agree. The newer bikes also have a higher output charging system so that would help with incandescent lights. I am leaving my 2021 RK 99% stock, I like it the way it is. The red lenses on the back look better than the amber. I am going to get a vintage bike instead throwing a bunch of money at this one. Post some pictures of your bike when you get it.

Mine won't be 99% stock, however, to most people, it will look like it. My last two Harley's were a FLHXS 2014 Street Glide Special, Twin Cam 103 and a FLSTC 2019 Heritage Softail Classic, Milwaukee Eight 114. The FLHP 2023 Road King Police, for me, will be the best from each of them.

I'm still collecting gear for this bike. I found a perfect fitting
travel bag travel bag
on Amazon for the Police Style Tour Pack that I posted about earlier. I stuffed it with a couple of pillows and it measured 18" x 14" x 9", as stated in the description for the 17" x 13" x 8" bag. It's a medium weight bag that should hold up ok if not abused. Interior volume works out to 37 liters.
