I just got my new to me 2017 RGU home and decided to update the Boom software. I was under the impression that android auto was now supported. I installed the 1.22.0.3 update and I don't have it. What am I missing?
I read an article that said they were releasing it for 2014 and up bikes. Did this not happen?
They released upgrade kits to install the 6.5GTS radio in the 14 & later bikes. The current software for the 6.5GTS supports AA & Carplay. You want AA or Carplay, upgrade to GTS radio.

Got it. Either the article I read was wrong or I misread it.
Is there a way to use Spotify or play music from my android phone through the 6.5?
Yes, connect your phone to it using bluetooth, open and start playing Spotify on your phone, then select your phone as the audio source on the radio.
Or just plug it into the USB port, either way will work. make sure you have at least one song downloaded to your phone so the bike recognizes it as a phone, otherwise it wont play.
I use Youtube music app on my Android Samsung S21 Ultra+, then connect bluetooth to the BoomBox - I find if I use the USB connection directly it will play some songs , but not all of them, and will then lockup after it fails to play a downloaded song it cant play.
