Default RushmoreRoadKingQuestion/Input

Got myself a '14 Roadie awhile back for a second bike. Love the sucker.
. Been thinking of something to change up this winter. Pretty much got everything else I'd like done, so was thinking maybe a good looking, but comfy seat then it occurred to me. A seat that provides the sensation of losing "in" the bike instead of "on" the bike like my Softail. Does a seat as this exist?
T.I.A. guys!😁

I like the looks of the Lepera Bare Bones Upfront on mine. I don't do a lot of long distance so the lack of comfort
isn't a huge issue. After about an hour and a half I find myself sliding back on the upfront part for extra padding.

JMO, it is a great feeling being "in" the bike as opposed to on the bike.
I found it is uncomfortable on longer rides because your knees are bent more.

I have a Mustang Lowdown, which lowers me about an inch from stock. It is also much narrower in the front. For me the primary reason was to have better leverage moving the bike around due my short legs, and it definitely does that for me.

It is a great looking seat, and all day (500+ mile) comfortable for me. I have the solo version with a separate pillion seat, but it comes in a one-piece two-up seat also.

I'm in the process have having a custom leather seat made by Lepera, hence the picture of the base seat foam. Finally decided on a brown leather with contrasted stitching, seat should be ready in another few weeks.

With my current Mustang saddle, I sit about an inch higher than stock and maybe an inch back and definitely feel 'on top of the bike'. The Lepera is about a 1/2" lower thank stock, so I'll be dropping down 1.5" and about a half inch back from stock. After riding around on the Lepera I can say that it's definitely more 'in the bike' now, which is what I wanted. The Lepera foam is firmer than the Mustang, but I wanted firmer.

Here's what was on it when I got it. I think it's the stock seat, but I don't have the stud thingies on it
. Thinking a solo of some kind with a matching passenger seat for the rare occasion momma goes too.

Not an OCD, but when you guys plan on sporting the solo for a few days, do you remove the rear footboards? Lol?

That looks like a Street Glide stock seat.

I think it does look a little off on my bike to have a solo seat with shiny chrome passenger boards. Not enough for me to take them off. But if I were running a solo seat all the time I probably would. I pretty much leave the passenger seat on now, even though I rarely have a passenger.
