Short lived fad. I just don’t understand why you bought a “special” and cover up, what makes it special. I know Harley uses the term loosely, but still. What Benefits do you gain from these?

Significant handling improvements.

Exactly.....

My neighbor went T bars with his new Road Glide and gauges relocation plate. Huge improvement. Apes induce alot of flex you can feel just sitting still.

You can do a gauge relocation on a Road Glide but on either the Street/Road Glide you can't relocate the GPS/Nav screen. That's my only complaint with T-bar conversions.

In the King of the Baggers race everyone (at least that I could see) ran T-Bars, or some modified clip ons. Handling-wise they are better. Just don't know that it makes a lot of sense paying for that big screen in the middle of your fairing and then blocking it with risers, though.

On an Electra Glide Standard they'd be great. Or a Road King.

Or if Harley would make a Road Glide "Standard" without the nav/radio like I wish they would...

So circling back to this, nobody has any good resources for a do-it-yourselfer? I guess I really need instructions on installing the T-Rex pullback plate.

I dont know what kind of junk bars you guys are running but my yaffes dont flex and neither did my wild1s. Not until the bike was on them anyway. You guys probably feel theyre more responsive because of the width more than anything.

Little but old thread but I am curious on what happens to the ignition switch. How do you relocate it or or get rid of it all together?

Mine is gone, have the CVO flash that allows me to use the kill switch to power everything up like the ignition switch did. You do need the security system with the fob to do this, no fob, no power.
