Default Passenger pegs as highway pegs

I just bought a 2020 SG and was wondering if the passenger pegs would fit highway peg mounts. I figure they should and I never carry a passenger. Would save $160

How far do the passenger floorboards “stick out” compared to the stock foot pegs?

I do this on almost every bike. I run a solo seat as my wife rides her own. So My passenger pegs are always used as hwy pegs. Works great.
