Default 2016 Road glide special blinker/ brake light problem

Good afternoon guys i have a problem with the lighting on the rear of my road glide!

the running lights work every time without fail

with the bike turned OFF the blinker and brake light and tail light all work as they should * note the front blinker blinks at normal rate

With the bike running the REAR blinker and brake light dont work but the tail light does *note the front blinker hyperflashes like it doesnt see the rear connected odd bc the Tail light works lol

I recently put handlebars on with no issues for a couple weeks till now
i would think thats my problem but the circumstance of working with the bike off and not with it running all seems odd

any idea of what is causing this would be awesome

Thanks in advance

could be a pinched wire somewhere. A similar thing happened to my buddy's bike. Everything worked fine for a little while after he put on his new bars, then eventually a couple pinched wires wore through and started shorting out. I'd double check your wiring around your bars. You may find a pinched spot

might have something to do with a power wire that is only powered when ignition is on. Could also be related to engine vibration.

you shouldn't need to pull them out of the bars, it's most likely in an area where they go in/out or near a place where something is tightened down

I believe i have fixed the code b2156 right rear turn signal overload problem

I rode the bike for an hour or so after replacing the bulb and everything worked as it should

I even checked the resistance of the old bulbs and they tested similar to each other(both old bulbs)
odd i only had a code for the right side

Thank you for all the responses part of the reason i love riding is the community that comes with it!

Thanks again
