Chipping touch screen?
Anybody else experiencing this? It's like there is a layer over my touch screen that is peeling off in a circular shape in the middle of my screen.

It's the screen saver like on your phone nowasdays. Go to a dealer, they can install a new one.

Yes it's a screen saver. You can replace it.

It is a plastic cover. You can replace it with a different kind, or go to the dealer and get one. I went to the dealer and looked at the one they were selling, and talked to the guy about it. He said it is no different than the ones you can buy for a cell phone. I bought a 2 pack off amazon for way cheaper than the one the dealer was selling. It is also much clearer than my stock one was.

$50-60 for two (package). There are aftermarket ones on ebay/amazon for like 13.

It appears this is no longer a warranty item. Does anyone have the instructions for putting on a new screen saver? Mine is due. Thanks! John

Thanks Barney! Just wanted to see if I wanted to attempt this or not. Think I can handle it. I have since found some YouTube videos to be helpful. You do get two screen savers in the kit, so the first one is for practice. Thanks again! John

I bought a kit on eBay for half what the dealer gets for them. Put it on my self. Works great for over a year now.
