I have a 2010 CVO Ultra and a 2015 Street Glide. Both kept in my garage down here in SWFL. My garage temp will stay from 90-98 degrees all summer and in the 80's during the winter. My batteries last about 2 years even using a tender. The heat shortens their life a lot. My 2010 needs a new battery. Going to try the Lithium technology. They are not supposed to be effected by heat. We will see. The prices have come down close enough to a regular lead acid battery that I am willing to give them a try. Ordered one from Full Spectrum Power.

I needed a battery for my Softail Slim so based on all the recommendations I bought this one from Battery Mart.

USA Made BIG CRANK ETX20L.
I like the name LOL. Of course any new battery is better than a dying one so we shall see. So far I have had it out several times and I do get a BIG CRANK that fires up that 110 Screaming Eagle LOL.
Still makes me laugh - if only my crank was as big as my battery
Shipping was free and the price was good, and made in USA!

While at Myrtle Beach last week my battery started to drag when starting. I learned years ago that this means it's time for a new one. Got back home and the bike sit in the man cave four days on the tender and I forgot about it. Went to crank it yesterday and it was worse than before. I looked online at the local auto parts stores and also the Deka brand which I have used before with okay results. Even looked at the new Lithium batteries. I decided to go with Batteries Plus and a Duracell Ultra 30LA AGM Gray Case Battery - USA.
It carries a two year warranty and they had a 10% discount which kept it under $150 bucks. Fit like a glove and she cranks strong!
The online reviews were excellent which was a big reason I decided to give it a try.
They actually make a black case for the same price but it was not in stock.
I took advantage of this to clean very well under and around the battery compartment as well as hook the plugins back up for our heated gear.

If you buy a AGM battery get a charger made for AGM. I have a battery minder for aircraft AGM battery’s and it compensates for temperature. I got 4 years plus out my battery and changed it out only because it was four years old and I didn’t want to get stuck in some small town in the middle of no where if it craped out.
