I would like to know why.?.I have been ridding since 1963 and never herd that said, .As a matter of fact that's most likely the dumbest thing I ever herd. I had had knuckles heads, pans shovels, and all of them. I most likely have more time on a bike then in a car. And as always If I am going on a long ride and plan to put lots of miles on and service is getting close I check my ride out CHANGE OIL AND IF NEEDED THE OTHER TWO HOLES.BEFORE I GO. Never had a problem maybe have done this about 75 times.

Default Looked at carbon build up near end of season.

I'll use the Lucas injector cleaner here and there over the summer and do the scope again after the last fall ride. If I remember I'll post again on the result. Anyhow I think keeping your injectors plus intake valves clean in spite of so called added in cleaning agents is a smart undertaking. Leaking valve guides seals are a good promoter of carbon build up as well with venting the crank case vapour in to your throttle body. Best of luck.
As I said I would last post, I had a second boroscope look through the spark plug holes. Yes the Lucas injector cleaner removed carbon from he tops of my pistons. I didn't use it religiously during the summer but rather here and there. I'd add two ounces to the 5 gallon fuel fill. Next year it'll go in more often. I found no running issues using it.

You're GTG with SeaFoam. I winterize with it and carry a can with a 2 oz shot pour spigot jambed in the top in my sissy bar bag. Every 2-3 tank fulls of 0E gas gets a shot of SeaFoam because of the single hose pumps and residual 10E fuel. Been doing this for years. It won't harm anything for sure. SeaFoam is nothing but naptha and pale oil combined so it isn't as aggressive or tricky to use as some of the other products out there.

Thumbs up

I use an app called Pure Gas. It displays stations nearest you listing the grade of gas without ethanol.
