2016 FLHTK - Handlebar Confusion and Options
I'm looking to replace the handlebars on my '16 FLHTK. According to the GMA and parts list, the OE bars have a 10.50 in.
Here are the dimensions (Based on what I can find)
The OE part # 55924-14.
Diameter 1
Width 31
Pull Back 6.5
Rise 10.5
Base 15.5
Kurl 3.5
Looking at my bike and pictures of other '16s, and those that have put on 10" bars, I can't believe that these stock bars have a 10.5" rise. Is this correct?

Not unless they're using a different method to measure rise. My understanding is rise is measured from the bar clamp to the height of the top curve of the bars. Harley must be measuring to the grip tips.
This is how Wild 1 measures rise on their bars:
Edit - Here are my stock '14 FLHTK bars. They are definitely measuring to the grip tips.

That's what I was thinking as well. I had my mechanic and I looking at the stock bars and the only way we could see them hitting 10.5 is measuring to the tips as well.
So I'm looking for some nice bars, which can be MOCO bars or aftermarket, that put me up about so my hands are sitting right at the top of the fairing.
I would prefer exact fits, that require no additional cabling. They also need to be compatible with the heated grips.
I think some companies 10" bars would work or possible 12" bars. I'm also 5'10" and want a mild amount of pull back. I have no problem reaching the stock bars. I just want a taller reach.

I have these, as do others in the forum, and I love them. By far the best mod I've made to my bike.

Are all of these suggestions compatible with the heated grips? I do not want to lose that functionality at all nor do I want to have to add some type of adapter. Was at the dealer last night and they said that I the MOCO bars would require me to have to run some accessory and cabling outside the bars?? I can't imagine that?

i went through 4 different bars on my road king until i found the right ones.....nice trial and error practice, try to buy bars that are 100% returnable..... i found Carlini s..... and loved them.... so on my SGS i bought the Carlinis for it the day i rode the new bike home...... went through same process with seats....
