Like others have said i think it is a setting issue. If memory serves me correct there are settings that when using more than one feature it allows you to select which one is the most important and least important for simple terms.

I know I have used the phone, GPS and XM all at the same time. The unit allows you to select the one that will more or less over ride the other.

Good luck
I've been around the 6.5GT since its' introduction & can't recall any such feature. If you could, kindly provide a source reference that explains this, because I am totally at a loss as to how this is done & would like to learn about it. Meanwhile, I'll try reviewing my '14, '15, '16 & '18 manuals to see if I can find that priority selection setting. Sorry, don't have the '17 manual so maybe that's why I don't ever remember reading about this?

Is it possible the navigation is trying to direct you to a destination like a old route that never completed?
