Default Dyno tuned 2014 flhtk

Tuned at Performance Choppers in El Cajon Ca. Mickey has 20+ years experience at tuning HD and if you want you can spend all the time you want in the Dyno room with him and he will explain the entire process to you, but be warned this is a 6-8 hour process.
For anyone thinking about needing a cam to gain more HP/TQ out of their bike, here is what is possible with a properly tuned (step tuned with a load controlled dyno) stage one bike;
Power Vision/Target Tune
Fuel Moto 2-1-2 jackpot header
Fuel Moto 4" jackpot dyno tuned muffler
Cold Air intake (S&S tear drop) externally vented

Here's a Fuel Moto chart SAE corrected showing about the same results:

I'm extremely pleased with the results and if anyone in the San Diego area is looking for a good dyno tech Mickey at Performance choppers has over 20yrs experience tuning bikes and even builders in L.A. bring their bikes to him. I was a little apprehensive about getting a dyno tune and my bike was running pretty good with power vision and target tune, but I knew that I was also limited on what I could do tune wise, based on experience and knowledge your kind of limited to only dialing in your VE table and only in a limited area you frequently ride in. Be wary of tuners who say they can tune your bike in 3hrs or less for only $300.00, it can't be done. I'm glad I found Mickey.

I have never seen a bike where the HP and Torque did not cross at about 5200 RPM's, how did he move yours down so low in the RPM range?

The HP and TQ axes are scaled differently.

On top of what dcfatboy posted about the HP and TQ axes, the chart is a bit misleading since it shows STD Smoothing instead of SAE Smoothing.

Here's a great thread on dyno correction factors:

I find the difference in dyno tuning to be so different, (even if it's the same type of dyno tune, just a different shops) the regular guy like me wonders why people even hold it up as gospel. I have the same engine as the op but with a D&D Fatcat exhaust, Arlen Ness big sucker air intake, I forget the name of the tuner and a Andrew's 48H cam set. I was at 98hp and 110tq. So mine seems to be under performing the op's even though I have cam work done. Anyway, good numbers brother, better than mine and i think mine runs great.

Thanx for that intell, nice to know there is a tuner near my area that will work with you despite all the California BS.
