Default New Map Update?

Does anyone have any idea as to when a new map update might come out? The one out now has been around since last year.

No idea. Personally, there's no way I'm going to lay down $160 for an "updated" outdated map.

Every map update for bike or car has been a waste of money for me. What I have is close enough, and when it gets critical Waze of Google Maps Bluetooth from the phone works GREAT.

Updates are outdated before they hit the shelves.

Save yo money...The **** the Romaniacs push out is junk and absolutely not worth the coin. And from my experience **ALL** the factory installed mapping units are pretty much just a pretty thing in the dash. I've had Honda, Chrysler, Ram, Kia and the Harley... Ya, there is some function in them, but there are much better options out there. IMO, **ALL* the freaking updates are a scam to soak consumers for just a bit more cash.

Save your money. The newest maps available are always two years old.

I have the ancient map that was installed when I bought the bike. So far it works fine for me. Usually. Only occasionally out in the middle of nowhere does the map make the bike look like it's going across nothing.
But I have no idea if an upgraded map would have an update in that area. For the price they want for upgrades, no thanks I'll pass.

If necessary, I could use Google maps but I haven't needed to resort to that yet.

Almost always when were traveling a long distance, my riding partner's wife has an addiciton to paper maps- so she gets to navigate just because she likes doing it.

Have not had troubles finding our way around so far.

My new 19 rgs had "my17" map! I thought that meant model year of the bike! By buying this bike I thought I'd have latest version at least.
