Ran great taking it home. Ran great all the way to work today. More substantial ride tomorrow should tell.

Does your last post mean new injectors fixed it?

No sir, I did not have the injectors replaced. That was my next step if the bike still wasn't running right after picking it up. Problem I was having was that nobody else thought there was an issue, yet it was clearly evident to me. All this week they kept telling me they couldn't reproduce it, so I decided I would pick up the bike and see if it acted up again. If it did, then injector replacement.

The good news is I rode it all day and not a single hickup. I am hoping at this point it was bad gas or someone quietly fixed it.

I have had bad gas once in my Harley. Would not idle unless I held throttle open a tad. Had been scratch my head for a week or more . Couple tanks later, our 10% ethanol absorbed the water and it was OK. , Then I noticed the service station was digging up his tank.
I stopped in and ask what was going on. They just looked and said upgrade. Sure am glad I did not have a tank full in my cages.
Only running problem I have ever had in 50K.

Yeah, I have had bad gas before and had the same symptoms you mention. I always carry seafoam in my saddlebag for just that reason. In this case, idle was good and it wasn't until I was mid throttle under load that the issue surfaced.

/me still very puzzled but happy it runs good now

I noticed you haven’t seen Illinois yet. Understandable, being home to Chicago. I advise a wide berth...

I haven't rode in IL yet, but I did experience Great Lakes for boot camp then A school at Chanute AFB in Rantoul, LOL

I will be riding through IL during my IBA 48 States Challenge in June of 2019, and it looks like I'll pass pretty close to Chicago.

Buddy of mine bought one of the houses on the old base after they shut it down. Still kinda weird rolling through the place.
