Default Legends Suspension

Legends Revo-A shocks and Axeo forks.

Tell me the good and the bad if you have them mounted on your Harley touring bike.

The legend revo-a are remarkable, I’m having the axeo installed now so I can’t speak for them. Honestly, there’s a lot of good options out there, lots of people like different brands. Legend seems more built for daily riding and not race tracks. They’re very user friendly to adjust the sag and rebound (on the a’s).

I’m pleased with mine, standard length axeo in the front and 13” revo-a in the rear. The fronts are much more stable under breaking than the OEM, but ride a little stiffer. I run solo most of the time at 185# and have them set at zero. The revos are overall a better ride than either the air shocks or the cvo adjustables. They get even better with weight added.

All good here on revo A in the rear nothing to complain about. I have no opinion Legends front suspension.

I have the HD. premium suspension in the front with heavy fork oil.

The Revo-A is a huge improvement in the back. Doesn't make my SG ride like an Ultra, but they definitely took the harshness out of it.

The Axeo's feel like your riding a jack hammer.

What setting are you using?

Ar first it was at one, which is the jack hammer. Now it is at 0, which is better but still too stiff.

My Axeo front’s were way firm set at “2”. Not like a jackhammer, but too firm for my liking. I had them pulled and set to “0” ..now they are very plush indeed. I wish they were externally adjustable, as I would think that setting them to “1” might just be ideal.

+1 on external adjustment. I ride solo, two-up and two-up touring with Tour-Pak. That's a pretty wide load range.

My Revo-A's on the back are highly adjustable and I have saved settings for different uses. The Axeos in front I have tried to find a happy medium as much as possible, leaning towards stability with a load and handling responsiveness, but that makes them a little stiff when riding solo.
