You don't need a special tender for an AGM battery, the standard tenders work fine with them.

Lithium batteries and Gel Cells (if they even make those any more) I believe might need a specific charger/tender, but AGM's really don't.

There's several setting on my NOCO charger, which include normal and cold AGM, small and large. I'm certainly not doubting what you say, but, just as many people say you do need a special charger, than not. Rather then take a chance, I err on the side of caution. Although the NOCO's instructions are very lacking, they do state, on their own website, that there are no special restrictions on charging an AGM battery. So yes, I am very confused.

I have the same charger, and it is set to "12V NORM Small, for 14.5V |900mA| Up to 35Ah Batteries".

What are the opinions on the older verse the newer tender Jr.s.
