Bought my BT Jr in 2002. It's been in continuous use since then and still does a great job. I credit it with the life of my original battery being almost 10 years. I gave it to a neighbor and as far as I know it's still in his riding mower.
I have been using the HD tender since I purchased my FLHTK in '14. The dealer added in the sale. Are the HD units made by Deltran? I gave my jr to my dad to keep his JD mower charged up and its still going strong.

Yes they are. If you send it in out of warranty they will replace it but it will be with a Battery Tender model. Great company.
Been using two of these with the SAE adapter on my bikes for the past year. My eight year old Lexus battery went dead, and this charger brought it back to live, which surprised me.
The one the dealership gave me, when I bought a new 2007 RK Custom lasted 5/6 years, it was a H-D Tender Jr.
I have a Beltrand Battery Tender on a 32 Ford, that is well over 20 years old. All of my others will work for that long too.
I have several units (both BatteryMinder brand & Battery Tender brand).......12 to 15 years on all of them with ZERO problems. Buy either with confidence!
Walmart had a special on a 2 Amp Schumacher battery tender for 17 bucks each. I bought 2, one of which has been used continually for 3 years. I have no idea if it will last another year much less 3... ha
Have a Deltran Battery Tender Jr since 2009. On the 2005 bike had it plug in all the time. This 2015, once a month turn it on till green light appears (about 30 mins) and turn off.
I have 3 Battery Tender Jr.'s. They range in age, with the oldest being 10-15 years old. All still work, even the one I dropped. I just bought a NOCO Genius G3500, because I now have a AGM battery.
