Fender Emblem Rattle
#3
Last 3 new bikes i've had the front fender emblem rattled. Here is what i've done to them. Remove the front 2 fender bolts and tilt the fender up and rearwards. Take a finger full of silly cone and dab it over the back of the push on clips on the inside of the fender, let dry and you are good to go. At least it's worked for me for years now.

Have you isolated the cause of the noise.....?? It could be several things, but I have had an emblem rattle before..
I changed the front fender on my '03 Heritage due to a vandalism to the paint, several years ago. When I reinstalled everything, the push nuts (#7613A), that hold on the fender emblem became loose and the emblems rattled. They were cheap, push on nuts. Probably a one-time use item. They were inexpensive enough that I replaced the push nuts and the rattle never returned.
The '15 Ultra Classic uses a different part number for the emblem retaining clips (#12200092 retaining clip). They too seem to be a press fit clip/nut, even if they are different from the '03 clips. As such they should be easy to replace, and inexpensive.... but if they started rattling, and you have never removed them, it's a coin toss how long the new ones will last....
NOTE:
FWIW, I have a '16 Ultra Classic. Because of your post, I went and checked... the clips are different from my '03 but very similar. I have not had a rattle, but did notice that one clip, on one side emblem, is a little loose... I'll have to change it out next time the front tire is off... I may use a "dab of silicone", suggested by "hardheaded" as a temp measure..

Just did a buddies last night for the second time. First time removed wheel and replaced clips, over time it loosed up and rattle came back.
This time we pulled it off, applied a few small dabs of RTV silicone to the backside of the emblem, then a few dabs of silicone to the press on nuts.
Assembled it all together and called it good. Pretty sure the silicone behind the emblem will be the cure. Problem is those cheap clip nuts... they suck..
