I wouldn't go as far as to make that statement but they are good lights. I run the CD true beam but it's a tough light to beat for brightness and they stand behind what they sell.

I got the Halomaker because I was looking for daytime visibility... not sure I would get one without.
BTW, I bought mine from J&P and they don't carry the latest updates until they are sold out... so if you get Hogworkz then buy from them direct... price is the same except at Hogworkz you don't have to buy the updated connector...

I agree with wanting a more classic look to go with the Road King. I had the Sunpie headlight and auxiliary set and the lighting was great but the multiple lens arrangement just didn't look right on the King. I ended up switching to the Eagle Lights set with the complex reflector and now I'm happy with the light output as well as the physical appearance.

Glad I found this thread, I'm looking to upgrade my HL and have been looking at options. Question, does the Hogworkz Halo version have additional wiring or is it plug and play? I was looking at another Halo HL and it said it required additional wiring for the Halo to work.
