Hey guys, AussieDog here with another question. You know me, I ask about something but then its six months before I do anything. Asked about batteries in the Spring, finally replaced it this Summer. Asked about tires this summer, will replace this winter. Now turn signal upgrades. Early in the summer I upgraded the back of the bike to LED's to increase my visibility using HD parts, plus added a Custom Dynamics brake/strobe flasher. Has anyone put the Custom Dynamics Probeam LED turn signals on the front of their bike and NOT been happy with them?

I have All CD on the back of my Limited... The Customer service at CD is GREAT and they warranty will make HD look BAD... What ever you buy CD you will be happy

 

Only problem I had.. it started to flash fast like a bad bulb, took it apart and water had got inside and rusted the connection,cleaned it off and put a little dielectric grease and it works 100% probably should have call CD but really didn’t seem a big deal at the time

 

I've got them, I like them, EXCEPT, they are too large to accommodate the visored lens I had on the bullet style lights.
So I had to go back to the bubble lens.

 

Quick question for ProBeam led owners. Are they brighter than the Gen 200 led CD stills sells. Great company, never have had anything not work.

The Pro beam looks like it gives a fuller White running light and a (what I'll call a) star turn signal.
The Gen 200 looks like the running light isn't as full, but it has the same amount of LED's, probably the reflector design, but the signal is fuller which I prefer.

 

I went ahead and bought a set today. I'll post a review after installation.
