Default Road King Tour Pack w/o Backrest?

Lookin around the forum and Harley's website, it seems impossible to find a tour pack that doesn't have a built in back rest for a passenger. Don't really care for a backrest on a solo rider bike.

Lookin for something that would fit the solo quick release mount.

Search for tourpaks on Amazon. Most come with backrest but you have to drill the holes to install them.

The way it arrives and later after I installed the rest. I won't swear all are like this but the 4 I've purchased over the years were all this way.

when you order the tour pack you are ordering just the tour pack without the backrest, that is a separate purchase. The holes however, are pre-drilled for the backrest.

I had Captain Itch make me something to cover the holes

Who makes that particular tourpak. I have been looking at ones on EBay but have been to nervous to pull the trigger on one of the Chinese ones.

I'd like something like that too, for those perfect evenings when I'd like to ride the bike to pickup takeout for dinner.

Paint on this one is flawless. Very very happy with this purchase and arrived in 2 days. I'm using and have 2 of the HTT brand mounts and they are very good quality also. Of course mine are the two up but they also make one ups.

ETA you can order these in all different sizes, with/without rest, racks etc. Mine is the 10.5 fwiw

Has a bunch of pre-drilled holes in it by the looks of it.

Zero holes predrilled in mine. Even the four mounting holes had to be drilled the rest of the way through. Please tell me where you see any holes? Are you seeing the two rivets that hold the opening wire? I see on their display picture but that is not the way these come. That is likely where they mounted something and removed for photo purposes. Those holes don't even match where the backrest mounts. Mine was hole free.
