i have a set of Arlen Ness deep cut chrome grips on my 17 RG. i have a set of KST 14 inch apes being delivered today. in a perfect world i would of put the grips on when i put the bars on but jokes on me !

anyone have any suggestions on how to remove my left grip without deystroying it as i need it to go back on my new bars ? not sure if anyone is familar with ness grips but they the left grip glues on. i didnt go crazy when i glued it on install but i just dont wanna trash it because they will be going on my apes.

ive heard getting some WD40 in there helps to break the glue but i dont want to swell the rubber on the grips ? not sure if that will do that or not.

afraid to grab and twist to hard because the rubber piece of the grip molds inside the outer metal exterior and im afraid ill never get them back to how they are currently if i was to break that mate.

looking for suggestions !
