Default fairing art

I'm looking to do something with that area between the aux lights on the outer fairing. I'm thinking a quality vinyl decal over a removable plastic sheet. I haven't decided on exactly what yet, that's why I'm not opting for custom painting. Any one have theirs decorated with anything? Any recommendations for getting the high quality decals?
Thanks
-Mark.

Why would you put a vinyl decal on a plastic sheet. The vinyl decal will peel off just as easy as a clear plastic sheet, Look into some sign shops that do graphic vinyl signs. Take your idea to them and let them do the work.

I'd only do real paint, a lot of times there is a pin stripper or custom painter at events, like Memorial day HD open house etc, i'd check that out before any decal.

I've seen the glue from decals ruin the paint on bikes, especially after being in the sun for a month or two. There are release sheets that are made of special plastic that doesn't stick but clings to the surface. Doesn't mar or leave a residue.
