18 CVO emblem on ebay
#73
I replaced the stock H-D name emblems on my '17 Ltd this winter. I bought a set of the '18 anniversary badges and installed them. At that time I learned they were vin-restricted, but apparently the MoCo didn't initially restrict them when they first became available as a part. Some savvy guys (maybe with connections) scooped up a bunch of them to resell. I don't know how much they inflated the cost but would guess at least double or triple normal retail. My dealer's service manager saw them and immediately asked me where I got them. I told him from a private seller and definitely not from a dealer or parts counter. For a minute I felt like the sheriff was asking me about breaking a Harley law...bootlegged badges!

I like the way everyone calls it a CVO emblem, its just the Bar and Shield that has been around for years. I have seen it on tanks and fenders years before HD decided to put it on a CVO.
Personal I like it, I have a decal on my truck and my toolbox but that does not make them a CVO. I do however realize that if it is on a CVO it is considered a CVO emblem, on any other bike or what ever
its just a Bar and Shield...Not condemning anyone in this thread just sharing my thoughts.
