First post although I already owe this forum and its users many thanks for help via lurking. I am hoping to install the Khromewerks 2+2 Sweepers (519) on my 2016 FLHTK and plan to do the wiring internally. I have watched the videos and read many helpful threads on the project but I cant seem to find a conclusive answer on whether these bars will accommodate the stock heated grips. Some say the bars need to be altered and some say they will fit just fine and Dennis Kirk says they wont even fit on the bike. I am hoping that someone can confirm that the stock heated grips will go on the new bars without any alteration because they have already done or at least find someone smarter than me that can figure it out by reading specs. they fit on my 2014 FLHTK

 

I am thinking about the same bars for my 14 FLHTK. Could You please post some pics to help out Ralph and myself?

 

I also have the 2+2 narrow sweepers on my 14 Limited. They do accommodate the heated grips without modification. I will post pics when I can.

I love these bars. No more pinch at the base of my skull. Relaxed grip, perfect arm height. One of the best things I have done.

 

Thanks for the info Confucius. I guess all thats left is to order the bars, do the install, and say goodbye to the pain between my shoulder blades. Hopefully they will do the trick for a grumpy old 5'10" man.

 

I have these bars on my 2016 FLHTK, all wiring is internal, it's a little tight getting the wiring through, but with a good amount of dish washing liquid the wiring pulls right through with no problem, the factory heated grips work just fine.

 

These bars made the pain go away - very comfy for me.

 

I have the 519's with heated grips and love them. Installed myself and wired internally. I believe the 519's are the 2 + 2 "narrow sweepers" that are 2.5" narrower than the 517 2 + 2 standard sweepers. Definately the better design for me.
