On my RK they leak, when I wash the bike. I get a couple of tablespoons of water. Haven't road much in the rain yet.

 

on my 2014 limited they have always leaked a bit, my 2012 didnt

 

That's why HD makes those bag liners... keeps your stuff dry... they don't have to worry... at least half of their buyers don't ride or park in the rain.

 

Weird, My 2014 Limited bags never leak and I've been in many driving rainstorms.

 

I had a 2014 SGS and I now have a 2016 RGS. Neither leaked due to a problem with the bag and I’ve been through numerous rainstorms; wome felt like they were biblical in proportion. Not a drop in the bags. The only time I had water intrusion was when I had lid protectors installed. The material was like a sponge and caused water to wick inside the bags. I took them off and no issues.
