Default C1184 Error Code - How to Clear?

I had an ECU swapped out on my bike as the original had failed. Im now seeing my ABS light on all the time and the fault error Im seeing is C1184, VIN Does Not Match ABS ECU Calibration.

I have the Diag4bike software package where I can do most of what the dealer can do through their digitech software. Any idea how I can clear this error....or do I need to go back to the dealer?

I am clearing the code, but keeps coming back once I ride, so there is something else I need to fix.

Thanks..

The ECM needs the Vin# from your bike written into it, once that is done the code will be able to be cleared and not come back, the ABS Module has the correct Vin# from your bike in it, if you swapped the ECM from another bike there is a mis match of Vin#'s from ECM, ABS and BCM.

The dealer has to flash the software: About $75-150 bucks

How to fix this ABS light,

Pretty sure, based on what I have read about diag4bike, that you can fix that ABS light.... diag4bike does just about everything the dealer's Digital Tech II can do....

Call diag4bike customer service, they should be able to point you in the right direction..
