Default Bike dolly

Anyone have a recommendation for a bike dolly or a turntable besides the one at Harbor Freight? I have seen some smaller ones on the 'net but they all require a center stand.

Suggest you consider a good quality jack (not a cheap HF model)....a few good ones on the market. I have the J&S Jack and really like it.

Or this one ( click link below ) for 5 bills. With the J&S jack you have more options (cleaning, service work, etc.) In addition, they have a jack and dolly set-up.

I bought one of these and a jack.

You roll the jack under it and lift the bike, then the width of this dolly is adjustable and it rolls under the bike, then you let the bike down on it. The wheels could stand to be a bit larger in diameter to roll over the splits in the concrete in my garage but it allows me to spin the bike, roll it in and out of tight spots, work on it higher off the floor, etc. One of the best things I have ever purchased and should have gotten years ago!

I use a K&L and a Fat Jack for my Road King. My Dyna sits on the table lift.

I was in the same boat as OP. I wanted a dolly for my Ultra Classic. Something more substantial than the Harbor Freight dolly, less expensive than the Motomover, and less cumbersome than the Condor.

Enter the Drop Tail Cycle Glyder. Same concept as the HF, but MUCH better materials and construction. Plus, an option for a built-in wheel chock (i didn't get that one)

I purchased from here: https://www.2wheel.com/drop-tail-tra...-platform.html
Free shipping, ordered Monday night. Received Wednesday afternoon. I assembled it last night, and it is STURDY.

Before purchasing, I found a youtube of it in action here:

I just put mine up on the J&S Jack, move it where I want it, and throw a cover over it.

+1 on the MotoMover. Designed in Tampa, FL, built in GA.

I have the HF unit for my small bike and the MM for the softail or FLHTK depending on which one is in the riding rotation that week.

The wife bought a new car and it’s getting tight in the garage so I may need to add another mover to simplify the stacking.

I want to add that I went with a dolly over a jack for several reasons.
1. I already have an HF jack for working on the bike
2. I don’t have space to maneuver a bike on a jack around my garage.
3. I ride to work almost every day. I wanted the convenience of ride on, push aside.
