While some may like the dolly concept I need "multi-use" piece of equipment. A jack allows me to raise the cycle easily and push it around upright. As far as vertical height goes, there's really no need for me to raise my J&S jack up past the first stop (4" off the floor) if there's a height restriction. In my case I have no such restriction so I'm in the habit of raising it all the way up to it's maximum 18".

Before I knew i wanted/needed a bike jack, i knew i wanted to keep the bike upright to give me room for two cars in the garage. So about 4 years ago i got a HD/condor bike chock. It has been great, secure, and everything fits with room to spare.
Then i said i need a jack, so i got a J and S, i only use it for maintenance and cleaning. Otherwise the bike has always been in the chock, i ride the bike into it. But after seeing the dolly's, which i really never had heard of, it would be a chock with mobility, a good thing, worth 500 dollars for a good one.

I think the idea of ride on/ride off is great, but I wanted something to keep the bike upright as well and it seems the ride on/off ones are kick stand mandatory, obvi because of the design. And not a shameless plug cause I’m not affiliated with the company, but if you’re considerign a Condor and are anywhere near Rosemont IL, they’ll be at the bike show this weekend and they usually deal pretty nicely on the product there. You won’t walk away with one but they cut discounts and may offer free shipping (did for me but that as last year).

It's either riding season or its not. No dollies during riding season. Parked against the back wall of my garage when its isn't No need to move the bike when its parked either way. My garage is 2.5 cars wide and 2 cars plus about 5 feet deep. Room for big toolbox, a bench , snowblower, air compressor, freezer etc as well. I have a MC jack but whats the point of a roll around dolly?

I have a 2 car garage with 3 cars and 2 motorcycles in it. I squeeze everything into it's respective spot. I don't like any of my vehicles outside at all. We all suffer with our quirks. (:
I have been searching for a while now. I really like the Condor system ( http://condor-lift.com/index.php?rou...product_id=100 ). Keeps the bike upright. Also, you can transfer the system to a trailer and it looks like the best built system out there. but, it isn't cheap. And I would really like to be able to keep the tires off the ground during storage.
I have a Bursig Paddock stand for my 1 bike ( http://bursigusa.com ), it works great, keeps the entire bike in the air. But that ain't working for no 900 lb Harley.
This may be what I buy. I already have a jack. this is a dolly that will fit under the bike after you jack it up. https://www.klsupply.com/jacks-stand...ue-35-9872.asp It's on Amazon for $230
