I fully support the big wheel bagger, ape hangers and bobber genres. I buy the stock parts off Craigslist for pennies on the dollar to keep my bikes going. Honestly, I don't know how a dealer could even sell a stock clutch cable or brake line to someone.

Trends.......
Flames, metal flakes, satin denim, blacked out, chrome. Big wheel, chopper, cafe racer.
All the stuff that makes motorbiking cool. Different strokes for different folks. My opinion of the big wheelers.......? I have been drawn to them at most all the bike nights and shows. Most often these are the scooters with the most money thrown at 'em. If it was within my budget perhaps I would. But, when I was a little tyke, I parked the big wheel for good just as soon as I got onto two wheels. Even though I like the modern big wheel bikes, I feel they're trending down. I decided not to re-new my subscription to Baggers Mag as a result. I'm more in tune with what the Blue-collar Baggers are doing to personalize their bikes and I enjoy this blog site as an avenue to what interests me the most.

My recent upgrades: 21” front, wrap fender by klockwerks, 18” matching rear wheel, dirty bird air suspension to handle the height difference from stock. Not quite a “big wheel” bagger but upgraded from stock.

Yes, that’s the klockwerks level 21” wrap. I had it painted vivid black at a local custom shop. High quality fender, I looked at several other brands, but I’m glad I went with the all steel fender.
