It's not my style I guess but my style isnt everyone else's either.

I've had a "blacked out" bike to some degree since the 90's. Mostly because fancy paint, coatings and chrome were all too expensive for me... a wire brush and a rattle can of BBQ pit paint were my price range. They've all gone down the road just the same, and now that I can afford the nicer stuff, it's still black for me, just a little nicer version. I guess it's grown on me

My 26 has seen 30k miles so far...40k miles total on the bike, and it's only a 14'. To each their own...but not every "big wheeled bagger" rider falls into that stereotypical category. I ride my sh*t daily, to work, in traffic, in rain, at night...There's scratches, touch-up paint and rock chips all over...I haven't polished my bike since I got it, and I rarely wash it (I pretty much wipe it down with a shammy majority of the time). As for music, I listen to country, or oldies most of the time, so if that's considered "Crappy" then so be it. Just don't ever group me into the category of a douche bag with sparkly jeans, an affliction shirt, and white sunglasses...that's just ignorance on your behalf.

I have a 21" spoke wheel on my 13 RKC and got a flat in Nevada (middle of nowhere on 90W). Luckily for me it was the tube and not the tire and a local cycle shop was able to get one with their daily parts order when I contacted them from the road. Thanks to HOG BTW for helping through that but I had them get me 2 tubes and from now on, any long distance trips will include bringing an extra 21" tube. Can't speak for 23 or bigger sizes but my guess, if needed, is those would be a tad more difficult to get so better bring one if you're riding far and in desolate terrain.

Nice ride... Is there many custom shops in your neck of the woods?
I see you're location is in Hawaii
