Default Pin stripes or paint?

Looking to break up the vivid black Limited Low color a bit. It has some silver pin stripping along the bags etc. but looking to expand this. Anyone add pin stripping or paint to their vivid black sleds? Pics?

Pin striping is probably the most cost effective.

Look through magazines, go to bike shows, just keep your eyes peeled for something that catches your attention. Cut out the page, take a picture on your phone, ASK the owner who/where it was done.

The most important thing is to find images of things that spark a reaction from you; things you LOVE, and things you HATE. Giving an artist direction will help them find what's right for you.

On the sea of black, less really can be more. Simply having the grey re-done in another color can create a HUGE effect.

Once you pinstripe it, you can never go back. I'd really think about it. Unless you have an "old school" look to your Glide, pinstripes usually don't provide a good look. You might like it when it's first done, but it will fade quickly. IMO, they look too 80's and scream, I couldn't afford a paint job". Your bike, your decision.

search Pinterest "motorcycle pinstripe" for design ideas. Probably take you a 1/2 day to look at all the examples

If you have a professional pinstriped do your bike he will use a regular pinstripping paint and it can be removed if you don’t like later by using easy off over cleaner. Spray on let sit wipe off. Will take coupe times but works.

I am looking to go this route as well for my black bike. Am thinking of first changing the silver pinstripe to something like red or the orange found on the CVOs. Then might add some old school pin stripes to it as well on the fairing and saddle bag lids.

Born in 1962, turned 18 in 1980, maybe that's why I want to go back! At least the bike's screamin the truth..hell I couldn't even afford a factory paint job, HD left it in black primer!

Thought about having a light gray / white stripe running along with the red on my Black Denim SGS... Decided I'd go a different route, hopefully I'll have something to post in the spring...

I bought some knock off CVO bags, had them painted John Deere Blitz black.. If the custom design doesn't work out, I can use my stock bags till I get a re-spray..

Add a White and a Red stripe to the sliver and it will really POP. When you get to the end or around a style line on the bike intertwine the stripes around the silver. Google Image search is your friend.
