Drivers backrest
#53
Well, I fitted a Grasshopper riders backrest to my bike the other day. WOW.........I've never ridden a bike with one before and it is awesome! I actually stopped riding for a couple of years due to back issues. I think this backrest will solve all that! Giddy up!
The only issue I have is that the wife complains she is cramped sitting behind me and won't travel too far on there when the riders backrest is fitted...........Oh well lol

The base (which remains hidden under your seat) has a row of three (3) vertical holes. You take the backrest, squeeze together the two (2) posts separated by the spring, insert the posts in a slot in your seat between the driver and passenger and into the base at your desired height and release the posts. Pull up on the backrest to assure that the nubs mated to the holes. For removal, just reverse.

Thanks for the reply’s. I think I’m gonna try the grasshopper a try. For 90$ if it doesn’t work out ,not a big deal. I wanted to have mean city cycles do their magic on my hammock seat along with getting a back rest, but they can’t do anything with the hammock, sucks, so I’ll give the grasshopper a try

If your backrest looks like the one in post #25, it could not be any easier.
