I also have the Harley adjustable. I was also going to use it for long rides, exclusively, but once I got it on the bike, I never take it off, unless I am riding 2up. Getting the adjustable stuff put on is a bit tricky as the instructions that come with it are crap. I find it is easier to install the switch to adjust the seat if you already have midframe air deflectors.

I have the stock seat as well as a hammock. I'm leaning towards the hd adj backseat. I'd hate to spend the money and not like it. The local dealer doent have a bike with the backseat for me to try
Also want to make sure that there is enough room for the passenger while riding 2 up

I purchased the Grasshopper backrest. Not bad for $85.00, but no adjustments for it. ***** are darn near in the tank, but it's easier on the back!

Harley-Davidson Adjustable backrest. Extended the radius of the factory bend then cut and welded to move backrest pad DOWN 2" and BACK 2"

I use a Corbin and have their 'Rider' back rest - I am a short rider and the stock HD backrest would Never fit me.

BTW - you Ride a Motorcycle not Drive a Motorcycle

With the hammock seat and the H-D adjustable backrest I don't have enough room for the wife riding 2up.

I have the HD Adjustable with the Sundowner Deep Bucket on my FLHXANV. My wife can ride with me having no issues and plenty of room (she's about 5'4" and 145lbs). I never ride without the backrest. Very comfortable with my highway pegs too.

Mustang has a simple design, adjust up ,down back and forth, easy install, i think i got it from Dennis Kirk, or revzilla, decent price, They have 2 kinds, 1 mounts under seat, other to the seat, make sure which one you get

Do yourself a favor and get the MUstang backrest. It just easier to adjust on the fly and you can't find an UNCOMFORTABLE position anywhere with the Mustang.
