Brick almost killed me
So cruising about 70, turn head to check lane beside me to pass slower car, turned back just in time to see a nice acme brick in the road.. couldn't do anything but hit it.. went airborne then did a few tank slaps... Butt pucker factor 10. luckily didn't do any more damage to bike,I know it could be much worse.

Glad to hear you didn't go down. Nothing like a little excitement to clear the arteries.

Man - glad you are OK - and that was the only damage. Please tell me you have ESP and road tire/wheel coverage.

Hopefully you can give a description of the situation without a bunch of armchair quarterbacking, but what was your lane position, following distance, was this a 2 lane?
Did your tire go flat?
Is there anything, in hindsight, that you could have done to prevent this butt pucker?

Wow that is unbelievable. You are one lucky guy!
A good case for the tire and wheel coverage plan.
Heavy traffic is the worst. You just cannot see far enough ahead to know what cagers are straddling!
Good post it helps us all keep the unexpected in mind!
